To tend toward or achieve union or a common conclusion or result

Convergence is a group of like-minded people working together to love God and our neighbor in the way of Jesus. We seek to provide opportunites where people can express and explore their faith as we "do life" together. We want to show our friends and neighbors that God is still alive and well in our community; by the way we live, serve, and love others.

Our gatherings are meant to inspire people to come together and wrestle with what it means to be the people of God in our homes, neighborhoods, and every other area of our lives. Too many of us have given up on the church as a means of transforming our world, because of the bad examples we have seen. But we want to rediscover and recapture what it means to follow the teachings of Jesus in the 21st century, and work to bring heaven to earth through our relationships and actions.

We are a new outreach working in partnership with Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Westlake, Ohio. Our mission is to welcome all people into a community of peace, to become empowered followers of Jesus Christ.

It is easy to think of church as a place you go. A place that is boring, rigid, and out of touch with the real world.

But it's supposed to be something we are. We believe that the church should be a group of people who are active in showing their love for God and neighbor by the way they live, not just what they say they believe.
